As the month of August comes to a close, we are finally getting some good news on the injury front. It looks like Pro Bowl LT Ryan Clady will be taking the field this Thursday against the Vikings. This is good news for a Broncos offensive line that has been struggling over the past three games.
Also in today, RB Correll Buckhalter returned to practice without an orange, no-contact jersey. When asked about it Coach McDaniels had this to say:
"If the backs are ready to go, we’re going to play them. Ryan Clady, same thing. We’re going to kind of use today and tomorrow to gauge where we’re at.
Lets hope this signals the beginning of the end of the Broncos first string running game woes.
